Flip NC Presents Training and Networking for the OBX

Plan to join us on Saturday, February 3, 2018 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at the Pitts Center in Southern Shores as we prepare for the 2018 mid term elections and how we here on the OBX can help FLIP NC Blue. As we’ve seen in other states, especially in Virginia, grass roots networking and organizing bring people to the polls to support progressive and Democratic Candidates.
Amy Cox and Briana Brough will be presenting this workshop. They are the founders of FLIP NC, a Triangle-based Indivisible group taking targeted, evidence-based action to elect progressives in North Carolina. They have agreed to come to the Outer Banks to help make it easier for those of us here to network, learn, and become more active.
They’ll be here on Saturday, February 3rd to discuss how, where and why we can most effectively work to bring a Democratic wave to North Carolina in 2018.
The meeting will include an overview of their data-driven strategy for flipping seats across the state, as well as a practical, hands-on look at how to maximize our impact here in the Outer Banks.
